Alfa Romeo - Appearance.
The Alfa 166 is a big saloon with a difference, its sleek and stylish with its tapered nose, clear headlights and sleekly shaped flanks this charismatic car can definitely turn heads.
Alfa Romeo - On the Road.
Not a lot of choice in the 166 range, they are all petrol fuelled no diesel model has been introduced they range from either the 155Bhp 2.0 Twin Spark or a pair of V6 models, 226Bhp 3.0 or 3.2. The 166 is front driven and sporty, the steering is sharp and the feel on the road is generally above acceptable. All models of the 166 are sporting a new multi link rear suspension which assists in new standards of handling if not the ride as well. The 2.0 and 3.0 models all include Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD), a Traction Control System (TCS), Anti-Slip Regulation (ASR) and the latest four-channel Bosch ABS. A VDC Stability Control System appears on the 3.0 and 3.2 models to add to the driver enjoyment.

Inside the 166 Alfa have definitely moved with the times, the interior is spacious although front seats engers still have more room than those travelling in the rear. There is a choice between the Turismo and Lusso models, Lusso including the electric front seats and leather interior, if opting for Lusso you have the opportunity to upgrade to the TI sports pack which compromises 18 inch alloys and lowered suspension. Inside the 166 we find the Siemens-designed 'Integrated Control System, a centre mounted screen controlling all your gadgets inside the car, stereo, climate control and if you have it, satalite navigation. The driving seat has plenty of room for adjustments which will ensure a comfortable drive and there is ample luggage space in the boot due to the fat tail, however the back seats don't split fold.
Alfa Romeo - Safety. & Security.
All models are fitted with four airbags along with an alarm an immobiliser as standard, the only down fall is no deadlocks fitted to the car.
