Although Kia has been around in some form since the mid 1940's it wasn't until the early 90's when Kia cars started to hit the roads of USA. The second largest manufacturer in Korea has radically changed its designs in recent years and changed its focus from the USA to Europe. Together with its 7 year warranty and improved designs such as the KIA "Ceed" and the recent "Sportage", Kia are gaining more respect, although its vehicles still do suffer higher depreciation than most of its competitors.
