Vehicle salvage for christmas

vehicle salvage logo

I know its a unusual gift but vehicle salvage can be a good Christmas present, for example you get a lovely 2003 ford mondeo for under £3000 (worth 12), you fix it up to good as new for £400 and you can give someone (or yourself) a £12000 ford mondeo for under £4000.

This is an example and I am not sure of real figures since I run the blog and not the salvage side of things, all i know is that these cars are cheap, and some have barely nothing wrong with them. Of course these salvage cars go quickly and if i had the money I would have bought several vehicle salvage cars off my boss.

I could not afford to give someone salvage cars for christmas, however for myself I would consider it. You can get more metal for you pound in vehicle salvage.

Check our SalvageSparefinder for some of the range of vehicles avaialble, from the KAWASAKI ZX6R CAT C to the FORD MONDEO 2001 CAT D . Some lovely specimins.

It is a great little way to make extra money also with most cars making a good profit (all seem to at least brake even).

So if you fancy a small business on the side, or to drive a better car than you could normally drive then check it out at SalvageSpareFinder.

Mitsubishi I - from a car salvage viewpoint

Thursday, November 23rd, 2006

The new Mitsubishi I seems a lot like the Smart Car, but it does have its differences. Firstly It won the Most Advanced Technology special achievement award in Japan and is Mitsubishi’s 1st Car of the year in over a decade. The Mitsubishi I have lots of car parts which is excellent on the car salvage front as it enables badly damaged cars to be salvages for car parts.

They have put a lot into style verses safety, which is neither good and bad from a car salvage point of view since safety means nothing, but to the consumer it is a good aspect for the car to have.

As you can see the car looks amaxing and if a car salvage category X of the Mitsubishi car came up Id snatch it straight away.

facts are from myautoparts.blogspot (can see some good images also)

ford escort salvage - vehicle salvage

Wednesday, November 15th, 2006

ford escort salvageThis 1999 Ford Escort salvage (vehicle salvage) I think is a good buy. For £1199 your getting a good sized family car. It is category C (for more information see the vehicle salvage guidelines) and only has light marks, nothing major.

It is a 1999 5 door Ford Escort salvage, with a diesel engine and a manual gearbox. 5 seats adds comfort and the 1800 engine size adds umph when needed (i.e up a hill).

It is a right hand drive and has the v5 document.

So if you like this vehicle salvage or want to view more picture then head over to SalvageSpareFinder.

Peugeot 206 salvage - vehicle salvage

peugeot 206 salvageThis peugeot 206 vehicle salvage is a great little car for the modding era. The easy customisations available, The small and nippy size and powerful engine make it a ideal candidate and thus good vehicle salvage.

The peugeot 206 already has some modifications such as metalic hub cab and twin exhausts.

The peugeot 206 is Category C so some work is needed, however at £1299 on SalvageSpareFinder it is another little bargain.

Other specifications include 1999 year, Diesel (manual), 1.8 litre engine (1868), 5 seats, has keys.

KAWASAKI ZX6R CAT C - vehicle salvage

Friday, November 10th, 2006

KAWASAKI ZX6RWho said vehicle salvage was scraps of metal. To further conclude this point I have started a new category Entitle Vehicle Salvage in which I will place what I think are the creme of salvage.

This beautifully vehicle salvage is a KAWASAKI ZX6R and is fully repaired. I think this is a great specimen and a good vehicle salvage find. All in all a Good deal.

It is going on SalvageSpareFinder for £1999 a steal if you ask me.

If you want to get your juices flowing read the glowing review on motorcycle.com
and you will agree this is a stunning motorcycle which brand new costs much more.

Vehicle salvage - a profitable business

Thursday, November 9th, 2006

Daewoo salvageI have been interviewing several people over the last month to find out what people actually think of vehicle salvage and i have come to the conclusion that most people have a misconceived idea of vehicle salvage.

The general thought is that vehicle salvage deals in junk or scrap metal, like you see in the movies in scrap yards and the image of the big metal cube or cars with car parts missing or hanging off. I am glad to tell you that it is not, and some vehicle salvage out there is the same as a second hand car but for a less price (often quarter).

Take the car in the image, this was a vehicle which was vehicle salvage, a very nice Daewoo with little damage. This is currently on SalvageSpareFinder, with minimal damage and for around a quater of its value. A profit to be made i think.

Yes some vehicle salvage is not so good and can only be used for car pars, but other vehicle salvage can be a profitable business. Vehicle Salvage comes in several categories and SalvageSpareFinder only deals in C, D and X. All these categories are 100% repairable and will in most cases make a good profit. Category C means it is repairable and profitable but the vehicle has more damage than category D. Category D means the vehicle will generate more profit because the amount spent on fixing it and buying it is less than the value before the accident, thus a greater profit can be gained.

Category X is the ultimate in vehicle salvage since it is recovered stolen vehicles or not registered as been in a accident, thus there is minimal damage, if any to the vehicle, and you can sell for more money than the previous categories.

Categories A and B are only good for salvaging vehicle parts and car parts and fixing them up is not a option since it would cost more than the pre-accident value

Right for all those confused people out there (who though vehicle salvage was a metal cube) I hope i have made it clear what vehicle salvage actually is
