Whats the deal with spare parts
I never understood the value of spare parts until yesterday. I have not had a vauxhall car spare tyre in my car for years, never thought i would need one. well i was wrong…
I was driving in my vauxhall vectra, nice and easy when i heard a pop. i thought i had ran over something. When i got out the car i had ran over a nail. figures. so now i have a flat tyre, so i go ok ill change the car tyre and ill be ok. so i get the car jack, pump the car off the ground, take the nuts off the wheel and the wheel off, i then go for my vauxhall car spare tyre which should be located under the boot and to my amusement it was not their and then i remember ages ago when i did the same, i replace the tyre but never replaced the car spare tyre.
so im stuck on a country road with no breakdown cover (i do now), no vauxhall car spare tyre, and no one around.
I end up waiting 50 minutes for someone kind enough to stop and tow me home in with a flat, before getting a bus to a garage and buying the first tyre i see which will fit.
